A japanese visiting Guanajuato?
A 25 year old Japanese tourist that doesn’t understand Spanish decided to visit Guanajuato to learn a lot more about our country.
Firstly, 1 Peso equals 5.17 Yens, so basically our coin finally beats another coin. See the peso for them is the new dollar. But they also make a lot of money so…. that counters that.
The plane from Japan to Mexico costs around 22,722 pesos, which means in Yens it is going to be 117,472 Yens. Once he gets here he will get any bus he can get on, and not because he doesn´t have any money, because he doesn´t understand Spanish, that´ll cost him around 540 pesos, and prepare for it because in Yens it is 2791.8 Yens, amazing right?
Well, once he gets past the horrible bus experience he will probably buy a dictionary to talk Spanish badly, but he will at least speak a bit so that will hover around a 100 pesos, cheap right? Now in Yens that will be 517 Yens, at this point you probably think this guy is going to be poor at any second by buying stuff he doesn’t even know the meaning of.
Taxis cost around 400 pesos, in Yens it is just ridiculous 2,086 Yens, plus they´re going to see you as a tourist so they are going swindle him. So it is going to cost 50 pesos more (that is why you need to know the average prices of the place you are going to).
A tour guide costs 1,500 pesos or they bounce around that price, well surprise surprise, as you already know it is going to cost 7755 Yens (a fortune in Yens). The hotel cost 1,708 pesos the night multiplied by 3 nights equals 5,124 pesos, pretty cheap for an average hotel, well in Yens 26,491 Yens (at this point, I would have gone home and stop wasting this much money).Breakfast is included so that doesn´t cost (finally, 最後に).
In case they want to have a party (not even god knows why), there are a few antrum´s around the city, no there are no average prices, they cost differently. Also, souvenirs are an important part of this guy´s trip so he is going to waste a ton lot of Yens equal Pesos, or was it the other way around? 3,000 pesos equal 15,510 Yens (is this guy rich or something?)
The guy will probably want typical clothes, because why not? That will cost around the 500 or maybe 1,000 if well made, in Yens that will cost 5,170 Yens (good for him).
The total expenses of this trip sum up to:
39,586 Pesos
204,660 Yens
